Bancroft Bridals “Running of the Brides”

Bancroft Bridal in Agawam, MA (where I’ll be ording my gown from for my 2009 wedding) held the first ever “Running of the Brides” wedding gown sale yesterday February 27th at the Hilton Garden in Springfield (next door to the Basketball Hall of Fame. ) Lots of lucky brides got the deal of a lifetime finding the perfect gown for only $199. They also had mothers dresses starting at $50, lots of shoes for $5 or $10, veils and headpieces starting at $20, and Flower girl dresses for $20. It was much more organized then Fileenes Basment’s running, and there were girls there from Bancroft helping fit the gowns, even the seamstress was there to let you know before you purchased the gown if it could be let out or taken in.
